3.0 out of 5 stars It's not exactly a lemon but you still get what you pay for, May 19, 2011

First, this tablet is not exactly a lemon. In fairness it actually works. But you still get what you paid for. For it's price (I got mine open boxed for $95 in a retail store) it's not a speed demon like the Galaxy Tab but it does provides decent speeds and can run YouTube. Likewise it does not include Android Market but has its own App Store and Amazon Android apps. Battery life also is not great. But hey it's cheap. I would recommend this for those who want to toy around with an Android tablet but is not willing to shell out a lot of money. If you want superior performance get another Android tablet or even an Ipad. But be willing to shell out a lot of money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not an iPad... but not $600 either!!, December 20, 2011
This review is from: Maylong M250 7INCH Tablet Pc Powered By (Personal Computers)
I bought this tablet 8 weeks ago, and I love it! My husband loved it too (he kept taking mine) so we purchased one for him too!)
For people thinking they're getting an iPad for $100, they'll be disappointed... but it does everything I need it to.
I love the radio scanner....I love the free games (becoming quite an Angry Birds addict)..
The e-reader is great.... got lots of free and very reasonably-priced books from Kobo and Amazon..
And I can check my e-mails.
It connected to my wi-fi as soon as I took it out of the box....It's not as fast as my laptop, but not too slow.
I was really looking for an e-reader... but for the same price, I got so much more....I love it!!!!

I bought the Maylong M-250 tablet through the Kmart web site for $149 because I had $57 in 'rewards' which made my price just under a hundred. At first it seemed ok for the price I paid. It came with a stylus but no cover to hold it or slot to slip it in, so you just have to keep up with the stylus separately which isn't very practical. My stylus never left the box. Also, there is no USB port built in. Instead the tablet comes with a cheap bulky plastic adapter with an ethernet port and one or two USB ports. Again, not practical at all. Still, for the price I was willing to cope. No big deal. However, the tablet only lasted me two-months before it died. When I tried to turn it on it would come up with the initial boot-up screen with the Android robot and then freeze. I tried resetting it, recharding it, letting it sit until it ran out of power and then fulling recharging it again but nothing worked. After a couple of days of trying to resolve it I called the number for... Read more
